This week on Imbewu: The Seed

16 May 2018

A sangoma warns that Buhle must have her Umemulo soon and Ngcolosi contacts his eldest daughter. Imbewu: The Seed, weekdays at 9:30PM.

Ngcolosi learns about Buhle’s mishap. Fraught MaNdlovu and MaZulu secretly resolve to do the Umemulo on their own. Zithulele is dejected by his lot in life, utterly uninspired by his job at Maluju oil. Shria vents to Nganono about Ngcolosi’s intention to leapfrog Pranav in order to become majority shareholder.

Zithulele’s attempts to convince the manager about his latest project continue fall on deaf ears. Pranav and Ngcolosi struggle to fill the void left by Zane. Ngcolosi worries about Buhle’s health and decides to see a Sangoma. MaNdlovu attempts to persuade the Sangoma not to tell Ngcolosi the truth.

A panicked MaZulu wants to make a run for it, but MaNdlovu stops her. Nganono and Shria both admit to wanting the COO position. Msobho gets stonewalled by the manager, throwing the Oswenka show into doubt. And Ngcolosi takes Buhle to see MaKhumalo, while a desperate MaNdlovu begs her ancestors for their intervention.

This is what happened on last week on Imbewu: The Seed.

MaNdlovu and MaZulu fear the worst when Ngcolosi returns from MaKhumalo. Meanwhile, Zithulele learns Msobho is really a labourer. Both Nganono and Shria question their fathers as to why they weren’t considered for the COO position. Ngcolosi makes a Skype call to his eldest daughter, Zakhiti.

Phunyuka informs an excited Zethu about her Umemulo. MaNdlovu and MaZulu visit Phakade to try and figure out how they will achieve Buhle’s Umemulo with anybody finding out. Zithulele is excited about helping Msobho and the Oswenka. Ngcolosi and Pranav are thrilled to be invited to a trade delegation overseas.
